Every year, the Green Business Award is given to one of about 40 nominated companies. Chaired by the former Swiss Federal Council Doris Leuthard, the Jury looks at every angle of a business before nominating or awarding a price.

Companies can only be nominated by selected stakeholders. Citra was nominated by the Federal Office for the Environment due to its large positive impact on the built environment.
