Citra Secures Swiss Market Entry with First Licensee

Cape Town, 15.01.2026

Citra has secured a crucial milestone in its global expansion strategy: its Swiss market entry through a licensed project with partner, Swiss Wall Tech. The project, a single-family residential home named Aarburg I located in Aarburg, Switzerland, marks the first application of Citra Building Technology in the country. Through the licensee model, Citra provides the core technology, consulting, and training necessary to equip the licensee and guarantee the success of this first Swiss project.
The focus is currently on the critical technical preparation phase: a local subcontractor is producing a full-scale mock-up under the direct supervision of Citra’s Head of Construction. This collaborative work is essential for ensuring all materials and proprietary construction methods meet Citra’s stringent standards for quality, durability, and environmental performance.
“The work currently underway on the mock-ups is a vital process of transferring our technology and knowledge to the local team,” stated Dwayne Jacobs, Head of Construction at Citra. “Establishing successful licensee operations, such as with Swiss Wall Tech, enables us to scale rapidly while maintaining local quality control over our building process.”
As the project successfully concludes its validation phase, the partnership is ready to move forward. Construction on Aarburg I is scheduled to commence in February 2026, delivering a building that will serve as a high-quality benchmark, successfully combining Swiss precision with the advanced standards of Citra Building Technology.
